Amazon has aggressively slashed prices of its Kindle products. The cheap 7" Kindle Fire drops $10 to just $40. If you buy popcorn at the movie theater, you'll probably spend more.
Other promotions include $50 off the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 (now $430), $50 off the Kindle Fire HD 10 (now $180) and $20 off the Kindle for Kids tablet (now $80). These price cuts will end on February 14, except the HDX 8.9 one, which runs until April 1.

Amazon's Kindle e-readers are discounted too - $20 off the Kindle Paperwhite (now $100), $30 off the 3G-enabled version (previous generation, though, 6th), $20 off the basic Kindle (now $60). These also end February 14, except for the Paperwhite 3G.

There is a number of Essentials Bundles that are also discounted, including $25 off the Kindle Voyage Essentials Bundle (now $255, ends April 1).

These promos are US-only and I couldn't find anything similar in Europe (par for the course, really).
