Acer's pre-installed software and hardware drivers can be reinstalled from Recovery Mangement. You may want to use the factory-installed driver if you find a specific problem with a piece of software, or if you want to use a factory-installed driver because a newer version of the driver has unexpected problems.

Follow the following steps to recover drivers and applications through eRecovery:

1. Click Start, then select All Programs.

2. Click Acer and then Acer eRecovery Management. You will be prompted to enter a password. The changed password will become the password to log in to eRecovery in the future, so be sure to keep it safe.

3. Select Reinstall in the window that appears below.

4. Click to reinstall the driver and application.

5. Click the content to select the driver or application you need to reinstall.

6. On the right, click the installation link and follow the on-screen instructions.

7. After the installation is complete, your computer will automatically restart. If it does not restart, please restart the computer manually.
