How to upgrade Lenovo notebook from XP to VISTA:

1. Enter the XP system and put the VISTA installation CD into the CD-ROM drive , the installation window will pop up automatically.

2. Click "Install Now".

3. Click "Do not get the latest installation updates".

4. Click Next directly, and there will be a prompt as shown below. Because the test system is an unofficial version, select "No" to continue the installation (Reminder: If you do not enter the serial number for 30 days, you will be prompted to activate).

5. The version selection interface appears. Select Windows Vista BUSINESS and click Next (because the original system of this machine is the XP Professional version, the HOME version is not allowed to be selected during the upgrade).

6. Accept the agreement.

7. Select upgrade installation (note: the system is required to be an NTFS partition, otherwise the installation is not allowed).

8. The system will check compatibility.

9. Start copying files.

10. After copying, you will be prompted to restart.

11. Complete the installation.

12. There will be a configuration process when restarting after completing the installation phase.

13. Set up WINDOWS.

14. Check the time setting.

15. Select the location of the computer.

16. The installation is completed.

17. There will be an initial automatic configuration process when starting again after installation.
